Born on September 20, 1995, Raquel Yellowsocks is a writer with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling and communication.
She brings a diverse background to her work, holding a degree in Applied Languages,
a postgraduate qualification in Business Management, and formal media training, alongside fluency in three languages.
For over six years, she immersed herself in the publishing industry, wearing multiple hats.
From assistant and translator to running her own indie publishing house.
She has been writing high/epic fantasy for over 16 years and has earned a few early literary awards.
Raquel left publishing in 2025 to embrace a new chapter. At 30, driven by her instincts, she launched The Yellowsocks Files.
When she isn’t creating, this self-proclaimed geek, avid gamer, and food enthusiast is likely hanging out with her ultimate sidekick:
her little dog, Nim, who goes by Agent Bean online.
